Buyer & Seller Blacklisting Policy

Rensa is committed to ensuring a smooth, reliable, and positive experience for both buyers and sellers on the platform. To maintain trust and transaction integrity, certain buyer and selling behaviors may result in blacklisting.

Blacklisting A Buyer

A buyer may be blacklisted if the following pattern of behavior is observed:

• The buyer fails to complete payment repeatedly.
• The buyer does not respond to any follow-up communication, including:
  • In-app notifications
  • Phone calls
  • WhatsApp messages
  • Emails
• Despite the lack of response, the buyer later returns to the platform and submits new offers on other items without resolving previous accepted offers.

Reasons for Blacklisting

This behavior disrupts the marketplace experience for sellers and affects trust within the platform. As a result, Rensa may blacklist such users to ensure:

• Sellers are not repeatedly engaged in non-serious transactions.
• A fair and efficient marketplace experience is maintained for all users

Blacklisting A Seller

To ensure platform integrity, sellers who consistently violate platform rules or fail to engage in good-faith transactions may be blacklisted.

1. Non-response to buyer offers

Sellers may be blacklisted if:

• Multiple interested buyers submit offers on listed items, and the seller repeatedly fails to accept or reject them.
• No response is given despite multiple follow-ups via:
  • In-app notifications
  • Phone calls
  • WhatsApp messages
  • Emails

2. Listing prohibited items

Sellers are not allowed to list items that go against Rensa’s guidelines, such as weapons, perishable foods, jobs, services etc. See guidelines here
